Ladies and Gentlemen, mark your calendar for TIRAI on 11th January 2025!
TIRAI is a platform to showcase the talents and learnings of our Artspire students from our 1-year long sponsored programme for underprivileged children and youth.
The public event features a theatre production, visual arts, culinary and sewing exhibition by students. The event is aimed at celebrating our students’ journey and giving them a production of a lifetime.
This year we are presenting “Matahari”. Featuring over 100 students from our Artspire programme, a 1-year long sponsored programme for children and teenagers. The production will feature our Theatre, Gamelan, Angklung, 24-Festive Drum, Choir, Malay Dance, Tari Silat, Indian Dance & Chinese Dance
Matahari is the final production for our Artspire performing arts students and is an in-house production written and directed by Arsyad Azrai, our Head of Creative Programmes and Maisyarah Mazlan the educator of Artspire Theatre programme.
HOLD UP, WAIT A MINUTE THAT’S NOT ALL. We will also have a Charity Bazaar with a wide variety of vendors selling different kinds of products from F&B to handmade crafts, artisanal products & many more. There will be children & family activities and entertainment too. Enjoy a fun filled day with the whole family!
