We would like to officially announce that after much consideration, we have come to the decision to POSTPONE our upcoming TIRAI 2020 event scheduled on 11th April 2020, Saturday
to a new date that will be determined later.
This is a precautionary measure taken by Pusat Kreatif Kanak-kanak Tuanku Bainun in view of the rising numbers of the Covid-19 outbreak in Malaysia and to ensure the well-being of the participating children, personnel and potential attendees to our event.
Let us all stay vigilant and remember to practice good hygiene habits at all times. We wish that all of you stay safe and healthy during this challenging time.
We look forward to keeping you updated on the new date of Tirai 2020 in the coming months. Our Alam Kreatif children are still very excited and ever ready to go on with the show later this year.

Join us for our annual showcase and charity bazaar. This year over 250 children and youth will be participating in the event. Tirai 2020 is a showcase that celebrates our children’s journey and achievements. A showcase that allows children and youth to share their talents with you.
This year’s Theatre Production titled MELODY, is an original production by Pusat Kreatif Kanak-kanak Tuanku Bainun, it includes performances from our creative classes such as Theatre, 24-Festive Drums, Angklung, Gamelan, Silat Tari and Malay, Chinese and Indian Traditional Dances. Children from our Visual Arts and Young Chef classes will be conducting art exhibitions and culinary demonstrations. Don’t miss out on our wide variety of stalls at the charity bazaar, performances by renowned local artists and bands, children’s activities and workshops.

Background
Tirai 2020 consists of children and youth from our Alam Kreatif 1-year sponsored classes that are supported by Yayasan Hasanah, a foundation of Khazanah Nasional. They have been instrumental in helping us to continue our efforts in offering free classes to underprivileged children. With the grant provided by Yayasan Hasanah, a foundation of Khazanah Nasional, corporate and individual donors and partners, we are able to continue to work towards creating more opportunities, exposure, and activities to benefit the children in our community.
In 2019, over 400 children came through our Centre under our Alam Kreatif programme for both free and paid programmes which includes children from shelter homes, orphanages, low-income families (B40, M40), Program Perumahan Rakyat, orang Asli community, juvenile delinquents as well as children with special needs.
