24 Festive Drums
The exciting beating of drums can be heard loudly around Malaysia especially during the Lunar New Year. The 24 Festive Drums is a well known musical performance that uses big size drums with leather skin, usually performed by young boys and girls, regardless of race, in welcoming the festive seasons. In Pusat Kreatif Kanak-Kanak Tuanku Bainun, we currently have eight drums for children to play with under the guidance of our instructor.
About the programme
In our 24 Festive Drums, we aim to equip students with the right techniques in playing drums and train them for endurance. Playing the drums also require muscle training in both hands and legs hence with our experienced instructors, students in this programme will step out of their comfort zone in practising music.
