Jasmine Playschool is a kindergarten for children between the ages of two to six years old. It was founded in 1988 and since 2013, the school has teamed up with Pusat Kreatif Kanak-Kanak Tuanku Bainun.
Its curriculum consists of classes, creative activities and projects that help foster holistic development in children. Jasmine Playschool incorporates learning approaches such as the Thematic Project approach, Montessori Method, Forest School model and principles from the National Standard Preschool Curriculum of Malaysia (KSPK). The school also embraces Malaysia’s thriving diversity by acknowledging and celebrating various cultural traditions and festivals.
H.A.K. (Help All Kids) Programme is a voluntary programme run primarily by the teachers of Jasmine Playschool to help young children who require additional support in their learning. At present, in collaboration with UNHCR and Pusat Kreatif Kanak-Kanak Tuanku Bainun, Jasmine Playschool is assisting in the education of refugees from Myanmar. The programme enables underprivileged children to engage in art, music, movement, outdoor play and English language classes.

JASMINE PLAYSCHOOL MANDALA
The Jasmine Playschool mandala mirrors how a child’s development is supported and influenced by his/her parents, family, teachers, peers environment and community.
The flower is a symbol of purity and joyfulness. Each petal represents a different way a child may choose to play (art, discovery & science, music, nature, literacy, numeracy, drama and movement). Jasmine Playschool believes that each child has several individual and unique ways to discover him/herself and the world through PLAY.
