What is Bocce?
Bocce is an Italian game and is one of the games offered at the Special Olympics World Games. The word Bocce is the plural of the word Boccia meaning ball in Italian or commonly known as lawn bowl in Malaysia. The basic principle of the sport is to roll a bocce ball closest to the target ball, which is called a palina.
About the Programme:
Sports is an effective way to engage and empower children with special needs. We are offering this programme to give the community an opportunity to have fun and bond with friends in a safe space. Bocce provides the chance for students to have social contact, develop physically and gain self-confidence.

Age Group: Minimum 7 Years old
Start Date: February 16th 2019
Time: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
Venue: Jasmine Field, PKK Tuanku Bainun
Fee: RM 216 (10 Sessions)
Registration Fee: RM 100 (For first time student only, one-off payment)
Maximum Participant: 10 pax
This Special Needs programme caters to those with development disabilities such as autism and Down’s syndrome. Please note that your child would need to be able to follow simple instructions and function in groups.
